"Bob Guest is not just a real estate agent. He is a former naval officer who still believes in the "honor code" and the "golden rule". The most common phrase used by our clients to describe Bob is "You can just trust Bob". "He has integrity, good judgment, and most of all he provides World Class Service".  Bob's team is all about service, service, service. Bob's systems, his knowledge, his experience and his staff make all the difference!  Bob developed his systems skills as a student at the United States Naval Academy.	For many years Bob had a Real EstateRadio Talk show on KJFK in Austin.
	Bob was on the Wrestling Team at the Naval Academy, an honor student and graduated on the Dean's List (GPA greater than 3.4) and in the top 10% of his class at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
Bob (on the right) in the Glee Club at the Naval Academy! 1981	Bob was active in the Naval Academy Choir  the "Glee Club" and the Chapel Choirs.   He also had a lead role in the Glee Club's Theater group, the "Masquerader's" production of "The Pirates of Penzance" as a Senior Midshipman at the Academy! 	Bob went on to post-graduate training and certification as a Naval Nuclear Engineer. Bob was in the last class at Annapolis (Class of 1982) to be interviewed by the late Admiral Rickover. Admiral Rickover is widely regarded as the father of the modern nuclear navy.  Bob was responsible for the propulsion plant on the Nuclear Submarine (SSN 690 USS Philadelphia) Bobs department received an excellent rating by the Navy and the Operational Reactor Safeguards Examination (ORSE) Audit Teams while serving as the Main Propulsion Officer. That stringent attention to detail was later used in rehabbing homes and developing a thriving rental portfolio as an Austin Texas investor.	SSN 690 "Philadelphia" was the attack submarine that Bob served onas the Electrical Officer and Main Propulsion Assistant and was qualified in Submarines.
The First Austin Property that Bob rehabed!	After his naval service Bob worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Raytheon and as a Department Manager for Applied Materials New Product Introduction Department.  Bob also coached the Manchester West High School Wrestling Team in New Hampshire for seven years where he coached seven highly successful teams, State Champions and a New England Champion.       In the late 90's Bob became frustrated with most Realtor's lack of knowledge and systems.  Bob decided to become his own Realtor and soon became his own best customer in the rehabilitation and resale of distressed property. The systems Bob designed to sell homes for himself are now the same systems he uses to sell his client's homes. Bob is a sought after speaker on investment Real Estate and Bob founded and ran the Austin Investment Club for over 10 years.	When time permits, Bob enjoys woodworking!
Jessica Guest	Bob and his wonderful wife and partner, Donna have four children Alan, David, Jessica and Angela.   Alan just graduated seminary and bible school in Washington State after serving in the Marine Corps in Iraq.David works in Austin at Walgreens Pharmacy after serving in the Army Rangers in Afghanistan. Jessica was a cross country runner and was active in the Theatre Department at Vista Ridge High School. ("Wizard of Oz", "You Can't Take it with You", "Blood Wedding", "Cry Havoc", "A Haunting We will Go", "Auntie Mame and "Fiddler on the Roof".  Jessica is now a freshman at Baylor University. Angela is a freshamn at Vista Ridge, and also enjoys theater, her pets, and is a voracious reader of fiction novels.	Angela and Donna Guest
