The number of Sold Homes dropped dramatically. This statistic is misleading in my opinion. The truth of the current market is that inventories in Stone Canyon are extremely low. Demand, however, is quite strong. At this time of year most sellers are reluctant to put their homes on the market, but this might be a bad decision this year. As interest rates rise, buyers are eager to lock in rates, but there are literally no homes for them to buy in this area. We currently have dozens of Stone Canyon buyers in waiting who are watching for new properties. Surprisingly despite a stable local economy, exemplary schools, and a beautiful Stone Canyon spring the demand for homes has actually gone down. All of this is despite the governments strong incentives for home buyers. At the same time demand for rental properties has increased as wary workers plan for the possibility of relocation out of the area. Buyers are concerned about putting down roots and the lack of flexibility with owning a home. Read More

I thought it would be a good idea to see if the Tax Incentives offered by the Government have made an impact on the market in Stone Canyon. In March the number of under contract homes increased by 100% by the previous year. This is strong evidence that the tax incentives are working, however will they close! Stay tuned! Read More
