One of the questions I always get this time of year is whether or not you should keep your home on the market. In this current market, it is a good time to keep your home listed. Inventory in our area is dropping significantly and this causes the median price of homes to go up in a very steep trajectory. Another factor is the demographic of buyers we are seeing are employment relocation buyers, which are very eager buyers.
Also, because inventory is low, this causes the bottom part of the market to pick up as well and allowing those sellers to move up. These two pressures are making the fall market great for selling.
As a side note, it is okay to use autumn decorations while staging your home, this makes your home more inviting to buyers.
